Situation Summary

  • Forward progress of the fire has been stopped. It is now 40% contained.
  • [UPDATED 2:45 p.m. Monday] Better mapping from aircraft sensors shows the burned 81 acres.
  • Resources on scene Monday include 21 engines, two water tenders, one dozer & approximately 80 total personnel.
  • There are 30+ structures destroyed and 40+ vehicles destroyed. The damage inspection process is ongoing.
  • Evacuations remain in place. Zone CLE-E148-A south of 24th Ave. & Zone CLE-E157 remain in an evacuation order. Zone CLE-E148-B north of 24th Ave. is under an evacuation warning.
  • Updated total on people evacuated was 2,313.
  • The evacuation center at Twin Pine Casino in Middletown housed 33 people Sunday night.
  • 183 customers in the area are currently without power.
