Situation Summary
Vegetation Fire - rpt @ 10:27 p.m. 28200 Block of Winchester Road in Unincorporated Winchester. Firefighters are on scene of a five-acre vegetation fire with a slow rate of spread. Minimal structure threat. No evacuations or injuries reported.
[FINAL UPDATE] The forward rate of spread has stopped, and the fire is 10 acres. Crews will remain on scene mopping up for several hours.
[UPDATE] The fire remains at 10 acres and is 80% contained. Crews are continuing to strengthen containment lines. One firefighter was transported for minor injuries to an area hospital for evaluation. Final update of the night unless conditions change.
