Current Situation
Situation Summary
Little to no perimeter growth has occurred in the last operational period. Continued warming and drying with afternoon increased winds are ventilating the interior of the fire and increasing the burn down and consumption of interior fuel loads. This is producing visible areas of isolated Smoke which will continue through the night.
While Shelly Fire operations is reducing the number of personnel and equipment, the safety of the community remains paramount.
Drivers in the area should remain alert for fire personnel and heavy equipment on or near the roadways.
WEATHER:
Cooler temperatures and gusty winds can be expected through Thursday.
