Situation Summary
Firefighters have been actively engaged in perimeter control and reinforcing control lines. Today, fire growth has been minimal; however, though it continues to spread in a rugged and remote area on the southeast end. Our strong presence of fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft has significantly slowed the fire's expansion. Additionally, dozers are establishing contingency lines ahead of the fire. We are coordinating with the Bureau of Land Management and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to minimize impacts on cultural and heritage resources.
