Situation Summary

UPDATE 12:25 P.M. The fire is now 75% contained. Evacuation WARNINGS have been lifted. Smoke will still be visible within the fire line perimeter as firefighters continue to work toward full containment. 

 

UPDATE 10:35 A.M. An Intel flight has mapped the fire at 57 acres and it is 35% contained. Firefighters are making good progress on containment lines. The evacuation warnings remain in place. 

 

The fire is 10 acres burning in steep terrain in light flashy fuels.
