Situation Summary

CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire at Cajalco Road X Eagle Canyon Road, east of Corona. The first arriving engine company reported five acres burning at a rapid rate. The fire is currently 450 acres and 0% contained. Multiple air and ground resources assigned. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.

5:11 p.m. [UPDATE] The following zones are under an evacuation ORDER; RVC-0968, RVC-1053, RVC-1054, RVC-1055, RVC-1270, RVC-1168, RVC-0969The following zones are under an evacuation WARNING; RVC-1162, RVC-1163, RVC-1164, RVC-1165, RVC-1166, RVC- 1264, RVC-1268

7:51 p.m. [UPDATE] The evacuation WARNINGS for the Terramor Community have been released. This encompasses zones RVC-1162, RVC-1163, RVC-1164, RVC-1165, RVC-1166, RVC-1167, RVC-1264 AND RVC-1268. The fire remains 450 acres and the forward progress has been stopped.

9:16 p.m. [UPDATE] ALL evacuation ORDERS have been downgraded to WARNINGS. Please use caution in the area, as firefighters are in the area working to strengthen containment. The fire is 500 acres and 25% contained

6/22/24 [UPDATE] 7:50 a.m. Overnight, an intel flight mapped the fire at 1,609 acres and is 50% contained. The evacuation warnings remain in place.
