Current Situation

Situation Summary

CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire Department is at scene of a vegetation fire outside of Oroville, CA. Firefighters continue to strengthen containment and control lines. Over the past 12 hours there has been no change in the noted acreage, but today we are expecting high temperatures which increases the chances for fire growth. Firefighters on the line will continue to remain hydrated and ready in the event the fire activity increases.
