Current Situation

Situation Summary

The complex consists of three large fires in Eastern Fresno County as well as several smaller fires.

Current fire updates:

Flash Fire - Kings Canyon & Cove Rd, 1500 acres, 15% contained.

Bolt Fire - Palomino & Elwood Rd, Wonder Valley area, 3234 acres, 10% contained.

Hog Fire - Watts Valley & Hog Mt. Rd, 266 acres, 0% contained.

Fire is making significant runs, topography and winds are influencing fire behavior.

Fire is impacting communication infrastructure.

Evacuation Centers

The Red Cross is opening an evacuation shelter at Reedley College (995 N Reed Ave, Reedley, CA 93654) for evacuees displaced by the Flash Fire & Bolt Fire in
Fresno County. (People and small animals)
Volunteers will provide safe shelter, water, meals & additional resources to individuals & small pets.
