Current Situation
Situation Summary
CAL FIRE Incident Command Team 3 will transition management of the fire back to CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit this morning. Moving forward, Incident updates will occur once a day unless significant changes occur in fire activity.
Fire activity continues to be minimal with mostly smoldering of large fuels, in ash pits and stump holes. Smoke will be visible within the fire’s boundary for potentially several weeks and is not a concern as firefighters will be actively patrolling the area and conducting mop-up. Remember that crews remain in the area; please use caution when driving.
Temperatures will continue to increase today into the low 100’s with relative humidities ranging from 15-20%. Similar conditions are expected on Sunday.
Fire suppression repair is ongoing. |
