Current Situation

Situation Summary

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire burning in the Santa Ana River bottom, near the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Bain Street. Upon arrival, fire resources reported approximately 1-2 acres of vegetation burning in medium to heavy vegetation with a slow to moderate rate of spread.  As of 4:00 p.m., the fire has grown to 15 acres and is 0% contained.  Please avoid the area as fire resources work to contain the fire.
