[UPDATE 05/25/24 7:00 P.M.] The fire was contained to 18 acres. Firefighters will remain on scene for the next several hours to strengthen containment.
[UPDATE 05/25/24 6:40 P.M.] Firefighters continue to make great progress as fire remains at 18 acres and is 90% contained.
[UPDATE 05/25/24 2:39 P.M.] The forward rate of spread has stopped and updated mapping has marked the fire at 18 acres. Hose line remains around the fire and resources will remain committed for approximately three to four hours.
[UPDATE 05/25/24 1:24 P.M.]: Fire is mapped at 35 acres with a moderate of spread. Murrieta City Fire is assisting with a water tender.
