Situation Summary
UPDATE 10/24/2024 AT 1:30PM The fire is now 40 acres.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a wildland fire near the 44000 block of Highway 79 in Aguanga. The first arriving Company Officer reported approximately two to three acres of light, flashy fuels, burning at a moderate rate of spread. The fire is currently burning in light to moderate fuels and is approximately 10 acres. An EVACUATION ORDER has been issued for zones RVC-2366, and RVC-2386. North of the Riverside/San Diego County line. East of White Mountain Road. West of High Point Truck Trail. South of Highway 79. An EVACUATION WARNING has been issued for zones RVC-2321, and RVC-2367. North of the Riverside/San Diego County line. East of White Mountain Road. West of Silent Valley Road. South of El Pasta. Road closures have been placed at Highway 371 X Highway 79 and Sage x Highway 79.
