Current Situation
Situation Summary
10/4/2024: Fire crews are working towards full suppression. It is burning to the north of Herring Creek Reservoir on either side of Forest Road 4N12. US Forest Service and CALFIRE, have been working together since the start of the fire conducting initial attack. Additional fire agencies are now supporting.
Yesterday, there were 6 air tankers dropping retardant all day. Today, helicopters will continue to drop water.
