Current Situation

Situation Summary

Firefighters took advantage of the increased cloud cover and light winds to increase the fire’s containment to 73%. The fire activity has been greatly diminished due to monsoonal relative humidity which has assisted in mop-up operations. Fire crews will remain on scene for mop up through the night and in to tomorrow.

Repopulation of evacuees occurred today at 10 am for the area affected by the fire.
