Current Situation
Situation Summary
Hot and dry weather conditions and lowering daytime relative humidity caused continued smoldering in stump holes and heavy fuels. Firefighters continue to patrol, mop up hot spots and reinforce control lines. A fire supression repair strategy is being implemented.
Management of the fire is transitioning back to the CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit. The information and media phone numbers have changed and are listed below.
