Current Situation
Situation Summary
There was a slight increase of fire activity yesterday deep within the fire perimeter. Large areas of unburned, brush flared up creating visible columns of smoke. Resources were on site to mitigate any fire spread. A type 2 helicopter has been working with ground crews to keep the fire activity well within the fire perimeter.
There is a possibility of similar activity today. Firefighters continue patrolling and mopping up hot spots and smoldering stump holes. Fire suppression repair is
ongoing.
Road Closures
The California Highway Patrol has opened roads leading to residential neighborhoods. Roads leading to the fire perimeter remain closed to the public in both Amador and Calaveras Counties

There will be a food spoliage disposal located at the Wilseyville Transfer Station 4598 Blizzard Mine Road. Wilseyville, CA 95257
