Current Situation

Situation Summary

Current Situation:

Firefighters are working in an extremely receptive fuelbed, lending to frequent spotting ahead of the fire on steep rugged terrain. A large quantity of standing dead trees are are making for intense burning within the fire perimeter.
Firefighters with multiple bull dozers are building line around the fire which stands at 209 acres and 15% contained.

The following Zones remain under an Evacuation ORDER (red):

  • YUB-E092(A&B)
  • YUB-E094
  • YUB-E093
  • YUB-E089(A)

The following Zones are under an evacuation WARNING (yellow):

  • YUB-E005

The following Zones remain in an advisory status only at this time (blue):

  • YUB-E089( B )

Evacuation Warnings:

All Evacuation Warnings have been lifted in Yuba County.

Evacuation Centers:

A temporary evacuation center was set up at the Yuba Sutter Fairgrounds, 442Franklin Ave, Yuba City.

Road Closures:

Willow Glen is closed from Frenchtown to Marysville Rd
Frenchtown closed from Willow Glen to Thousand Trails

Animal Evacuation Centers: 

Large Animal Evacuations can be taken to the Yuba County Sheriff Posse Arena at 5396 Marysville Rd. Browns Valley.
