Status Update

Situation Summary

Fire suppression repair is now beginning as part of the land rehabilitation process.

Crews made good progress today constructing line around the fire.

Smoke may still be visible in the area over the next few days as crew work towards 100% containment.

Crews are dealing with heavy fuels and steep terrain which require extensive mop-up work.

The cause of the fire was determined to be a campfire located at an illegal marijuana grow site.
