Status Update
Situation Summary
Last night, firefighters responded to multiple service calls and worked to extinguish hotspots around structures. Aircraft were deployed for water-dropping missions along the northeast perimeter near Chantry Flats, where fire growth has been observed. Today the priority continues to be structure protection and fire line construction to increase containment on the East, North, and West flanks.
Virtual Community Meeting
Friday, January 10th, 4:00 PM
Fire and law enforcement officials will host a virtual community meeting to provide the current fire situation, address questions, and discuss recovery related to the Eaton Fire. The meeting will be streamed live on YouTube. Following the presentation, a live Q&A session will allow community members to submit their questions in the chat and engage directly with officials.
