Status Update

Situation Summary

Thursday, the Line Fire burned actively within the fire footprint, including smoldering and isolated flareups. There was increased activity in the Bear Creek drainage. Tonight, clear skies and cool conditions are expected. 

CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 3 will be transitioning the Line Fire to California Interagency Incident Management Team 11 at 7:00am Friday, September 27, 2024.

Damage Inspections Teams (DINS) have completed their inspections. In all, four structures were damaged, and one was destroyed. 

There have been multiple drone incursions over the Line Fire area. Please be respectful of those fighting the fire and the community members who are impacted by fire. Never fly drones near wildfire. If you fly, we can't.
