Situation Summary
10/3/2024: Approximately 210 firefighters are on scene. VCFD is in unified command with the US Forest Service. Steep rugged terrain with limited access is hampering firefighting efforts. Water dropping helicopters are hitting hot spots and will continue working into the evening.
