Proposition 40 Fuels Reduction Program
CAL FIRE has begun implementation of a new fuels reduction program funded by Proposition 40, the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002. The goal of the CAL FIRE Proposition 40 Fuels Reduction Program is to reduce wildland fuel loadings that pose a threat to watershed resources and water quality. The links on this page will provide qualified landowners with the information necessary to apply for Prop. 40 funds.
